The Rule of Three

Question: How many times should you read your own work before publishing it?

Answer: Three times.

  1. Read it after you have completed your first draft and make minor corrections.
  2. Wait for one day (or at least a few hours) and read and revise again as needed.
  3. Have someone else review and comment and then read and revise it again.
